Cris is the Lecturer in Forest Mensuration and Inventory at the Department of Forestry, School of Resource and Environmental Management, Australian National University, Canberra. Geoff held this same position for 25 years until May 1993 when he retired as Reader in the Department. In 1995 and 1996, these electronic resources were compiled predominantly from lecture and practical manuals written by Geoff (1988-1992) for teaching undergraduate students in forestry. Cris restructured and linked Geoff's original work and developed new resources that include graphical presentations and animations.
Cris is also responsible for editing, promoting further developments and expanding the resources available. Expansion of resources may include linking to other databases and incorporating work by other practitioners and academics.
