  • Salary Package: $74,447 - $84,786 pa plus 17% superannuation

Position Overview

The Research Fellow will work with Professor Tom Griffiths in the History Program in the Research School of Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Social Sciences, Australian National University. The successful applicant will produce quality scholarship in the field of environmental history. They will assist in initiatives to develop new research projects and teaching programs, to foster partnerships with government, industry, the community and other universities, and to raise external research and sponsorship funding. They will play a role in developing and contributing to teaching programs for Honours, Masters, M. Phil and PhD students; and will supervise and serve on supervisory panels for honours and post-graduate students. They will also be called upon to undertake some undergraduate teaching. In collaboration with Professor Griffiths, they will help to establish a Centre for Environmental History in the History Program.
